Abstract Line Art
If you're creating a more minimalist bathroom, a simple line art piece is perfect. This will add some visual interest, but won't be too strong on a white wall.

Coastal photography is nice for a more transitional bathroom. Add some bath towels in the same colours as the art, to make the space feel cohesive.

A massive trend at the moment is small framed landscapes on walls, or styled on furniture. These look amazing in the sage green bathrooms. Match the frame colour to other elements in the room for a polished look.
Art Pair/Set
Hang a simple pair of artworks on the wall, or frame a smaller set and place on a shelf above the toilet. Frame with a thin wood frame to stick to that modern art feeling.
Botanical
If your bathroom is a bit more playful, add a framed modern botanical print and hang some plants around it.
Neutral Painting
Organic colours and textures are very in. Hang a larger neutral abstract to stick to that earth toned aesthetic, but add a more contemporary feeling to the bathroom.
