Small artworks can make a wall feel incredibly empty. They tend to draw the eye and seem out of proportion with the space. Instead of hanging a single small art print on the wall, style it on an art shelf.
Accessories
Beside your small art print on your shelf, consider adding some accessories. This could be anything from candle sticks, to books and potted plants. Try to vary the height of these objects so that the shelf looks visually balanced. For example, place one smaller decor piece, and one larger one beside a the artwork. It's best to decorate in uneven numbers, so consider adding three or five small accessories.
Sets/Gallery Wall
If you're set on hanging the small art print, try to hang it in a set or gallery wall. This way the piece is more proportionate to the space.
